Overview

This program is very beneficial for today’s time. The purpose of the course is to give a beginners understanding of the principles of Yoga and Ayurveda such that one can adjust one's own lifestyle, and share beneficial information with family, friends, colleagues, for improved health.

As we are aware that India is the birth place of Yoga, hence there can be no better place in the world, to learn Yoga and ancient Indian medicine science of Ayurveda, which literally means life sciences.

Students are expected to participate in the daily morning schedule including meditation, chanting, asana and pranayama by a Yoga teacher. During the day you will be taken to a hospital cum research centre where the principles of Ayurveda and how it can help in curing many diseases shall be explained. Both Yoga and Ayurveda are part of the natural healing therapies and do not have any side effects on the patients. They are by far the most clean and natural ways to heal people who are suffering.

The course will cover not only the main principle of Tridosha (one's natural state of being and imbalances) and simple therapeutic medicinal and massage treatments, but will also look at preventative lifestyle where consideration is given to one's age, the seasons, climate etc.

The course is conducted in English with many Sanskrit terms.

Comfortable clothes, sandals, toiletries, personal items, meditation shawl for cool evenings, yoga asana mat or pad, meditation cushion, notebooks, pens, towels and a torch.

Students must show proof of medical coverage while overseas.
